Advertising Marketing & Promotions Attorney - SeniorLocation: Seattle, WashingtonOur client, a leading international AmLaw 50 firm, recognized for its dynamic culture, dedication to client service, and commitment to diversity and inclusion, is seeking a highly-qualified Senior Attorney to support its nationally-recognized Advertising, Marketing & Promotions practice. This is a non-partnership track position with a lower annual billable hour requirement .Candidate Profile:JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.Active Washington state bar license preferred, but not required.Substantive experience in advertising law, consumer protection law, and marketing transactions .Proficiency in drafting and negotiating marketing-related agreements, reviewing ad copy for compliance issues, and counseling on advertising best practices.Experience counseling on compliance for contests and sweepstakes; guidance on pricing advertisements and recurring subscription models; and providing advice on loyalty and rewards programs .Experience with false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division dispute work is a plus.Excellent academic credentials and outstanding legal writing and communication skills.Experience in a large or medium law firm setting is preferred.Ability to work well in a group and strong attention to detail.Candidates interested in being located in the Pacific Northwest are preferred but not required.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team within the Advertising, Marketing & Promotions practice.Provide legal advice to businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies in the retail, entertainment, gaming, software, internet, food and beverage and advertising industries, ensuring compliance with complex and evolving advertising laws.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to advertising and marketing initiatives.Defend companies in disputes related to advertising and marketing practices and laws.Why Join?This role offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary ranging from $180,000 to $205,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
