Business Ad and Sponsorship Sales

Overview The Business-to-Business Sales Associate is responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing advertising and sponsorship sales with businesses that want to reach HCMS physician members across multiple advertising platforms, including an annual Business Expo, newsletter ads, web ads, and sponsored meetings. This role requires strong selling skills, persistence, and the ability to communicate the value of marketing to a professional audience. This is a sales role with guaranteed hourly compensation, not commission-based. Key Responsibilities - Identify and prospect businesses that serve physicians and healthcare practices (e.g., medical suppliers, financial services, legal firms, technology providers, real estate, insurance, recruiting firms, and more) - Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals - Develop and implement sales campaigns to meet budget goals - Sell and renew advertising for Expo, Buyer’s Guide, newsletter, web, and meetings - Maintain relationships with existing advertisers to drive renewals and upsell opportunities - Track sales activity and maintain accurate records - Collect payments, paperwork, and advertising materials - Assist with planning and on-site support for the annual Business Expo - Prospect and research potential advertisers - Maintain CRM/database accuracy Qualifications - 1–2 years of sales experience required - Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred - Proficient in Excel; CRM experience preferred - Strong communication, organization, and time management skills - Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks Location: Corporate Office Schedule: Approximately 19 hours/week - Tues & Wed: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm - Thurs: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (flexible scheduling considered) - Some evenings/weekends for events Compensation: Hourly pay (non-commission) Benefits: Not eligible Job Type: Part-time Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
