The Harter Secrest & Emery Business Development and Marketing Department plays a central role in advancing the firm’s growth, visibility, and client relationships. The Business Development and Marketing Intern will report directly to the Chief Business Development Officer while collaborating with team members to support key marketing and business department functions and initiative. • Merchandise Fulfillment and Tracking: creating and maintaining a merchandise fulfillment tracking spreadsheet, ordering new merchandise, organizing inventory, and distributing merchandise to internal and external audiences • Marketing Content: draft and post media coverage and speaking engagement summaries to the website and to the firm’s social media content sharing platform, update attorney bios, and other tasks assigned • Event, Webinar & Conference Logistics: assist with onsite event logistics, organize marketing and booth materials for delivery/shipment to venue, prepare report on registrant/attendee background • Team Project Management: Update details for assigned projects to the team’s project management platform • Marketing Research: Conduct research and prepare appropriate reports on prospective clients, webinar/event attendees, industry and business trends, etc., as assigned • Collaborate with BD/Marketing Team: Attend and actively contribute to team meetings about upcoming and pending projects This description is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for performance in this position.
