Job Summary:
The Campaign Specialist is a hands-on optimization role focused on improving the performance of paid media campaigns across search, paid social, and programmatic advertising. The Campaign Specialist is execution and optimization focused. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants deep, hands-on reps optimizing live campaigns. The Campaign Specialist receives day-to-day task direction from the Campaign Manager(s) whose accounts they support.
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Media Optimization
Optimize paid media campaigns, including audience refinement, budget shifts within an approved range, creative rotation, creative performance analysis, etc.
Identify and flag underperforming ads, keywords, audiences, or placements, and implement approved optimization changes promptly.
Run structured tests (A/B creative tests, bid strategy tests, audience tests) and summarize results for the Campaign Manager.
Performance Analysis & Reporting Support
Monitor campaign performance daily/weekly and proactively surface performance trends, wins, and concerns to the responsible Campaign Manager.
Assist with pulling performance data and populating reporting dashboards to support the Campaign Manager's client reporting.
Track the results of optimization changes over time to build a record of what's working across accounts and channels.
Supporting conversion rate optimization, tracking accuracy, funnel drop-off, etc.
Execution Support
Execute campaign changes and optimizations within the budget, pacing, and strategy parameters set by the Campaign Manager.
Support feed-related optimization tasks (e.g., flagging product/vehicle feed issues affecting ad performance) and route feed troubleshooting to the Campaign Manager or appropriate owner.
Assist with campaign build tasks (ad group structure, audience lists, creative uploads) as directed.
Collaboration & Development
Work closely with the Campaign Manager(s) supporting each account to stay aligned on priorities, upcoming client needs, and optimization focus areas.
Participate in internal team meetings and optimization/strategy syncs to share findings and learn from team members.
Pursue relevant platform certifications to build optimization expertise.
Bring performance insights and testing results back to the broader team to help improve optimization practices across accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc); experience across multiple channels is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset — comfortable digging into performance data to identify what's working and what isn't.
Detail-oriented, with a track record of executing optimization tasks accurately and on schedule.
Intellectual curiosity and a genuine desire to learn - this role requires staying on top of frequent platform changes, testing new approaches, and digging into the ‘why’.
Comfortable working within guardrails and processes adherence.
Basic familiarity with reporting/dashboarding tools is a plus.
Strong organization and written communication skills.
Work Environment & Expectations:
Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
Hybrid work schedule.
Reports to the Advertising Operations Manager and works alongside the Campaign Manager(s) whose accounts they're supporting.
Works across multiple accounts and industries (automotive, home services, healthcare, powersports, events, and more) alongside several Campaign Managers.
Pay: $19.25 - $21.25 per hour
