You'll handle day-to-day maintenance along with the monthly and quarterly routines that keep campaigns running smoothly, all with the goal of driving maximum efficiency across every campaign. We pride ourselves on our vendor-partner relationships, and a big part of this role is building and maintaining open lines of communication.MISSION:To place all media buys to produce maximum results for clients and maintain strong vendor relationships.RESPONSIBILITIESNegotiate and place media schedules for linear TV and out-of-home in new and existing markets.Includes rates and added-value opportunitiesCreates optimal buys related to cost efficiency and lead volume.Build and maintain ongoing relationships with station reps and vendors.Coordinate with Media Support for monthly and quarterly tasks.Coordinate station/dub trafficking with internal Traffic ManagerManage media schedules by the ongoing approval of makegoods and revisionsAnalyze monthly tracking reports to revise schedulesReview client lead numbers and spot outliersReconcile monthly station invoices for designated market list to meet accounting deadlineMaintain media and client critical stats informationRun quarterly posts on designated markets and ensure that under delivery schedules runUpdate cj Track with station info quarterlyProvide any assistance necessary to meet all media deadlinesWork with VP of Media and Associate Director of Media to present relevant media buy information to clients, as neededAnalyze station package offers, as needed.Prep and attend market trips, as needed.Assist with requesting and checking station contracts each quarter, as neededCRITICAL COMPETENCIESSTRONG NEGOTIATOR?– Doesn’t accept “no” for an answer; Diligent when working toward goals; Always has a back-up plan to push back – what else can you getPROACTIVE?- Client knowledge – knows when leads are below average and takes steps to find out why before being asked; Deadline driven – works ahead of deadlinesEFFECTIVE COMMUNICATOR?- Communicates clearly with vendors and internally; Precise, direct and clear written or verbal communications to work toward the missionANALYTICAL?– Knows how to look at client data for most realistic/obvious analysis; Results-driven; Number cruncherREQUIREMENTS3-5 years of media buying experience, including linear television and streamingKnowledge of Strata software a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office software with proficiency in ExcelExcellent attention to detailSelf-driven and a quick learnerOut-of-Home buying experience a plusBENEFITSHealth InsuranceDental Insurance availableCompany-Paid Life InsuranceCompany-Paid Long-Term Disability Insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
