Respond to underwriters’ inquiries.Negotiate terms with carriers on prospect’s behalf.Finalize the marketing process and prepare appropriate proposal presentations.Bind coverage for clients and execute client onboarding process.Develop knowledge of insurance markets on behalf of USI.Develop relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives.Serve as technical expert on market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies.Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems and technology platforms.Keep current with industry, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology. 10 years + experience in commercial property & casualty insurance agency.
