Commercial Contracts Attorney | $95.00 per hour

In this role, you will work closely with the company's finance, accounting, business development teams and other key business units. **As a Commercial Contracts Attorney, you will:** * Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements (i.e. license agreements, marketing/advertising agreements, NDA's, and other commercial transactional agreements). * Respond promptly to legal requests from product, business development, finance, marketing, and other clients by summarizing/communicating legal concepts in a clear and concise manner. * Advise/educate business and cross- functional stakeholders on legal issues that may include: * Regulatory issues * Agreement structures and approval processes * Company policies and procedures * IP * Digital advertising issues * Privacy and data security laws If you're interested in applying for the role, you can check it out here: https://www.hireart.com/jobs/f36dfbf8/apply ### Requirements * Must have a Juris Doctor and must be admitted to the bar in which this position is located and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g. have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located * 5+ years of experience advising on commercial agreements * Experience drafting/negotiating commercial agreements, services agreements, advertising/affiliate marketing agreements and NDA's * Experience drafting/negotiating data processing agreements (DPAs) * Knowledge of privacy laws, including but not limited to CCPA, GDPR, and GLBA * Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice balancing risks/business rewards with dedication to customer service * Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills * Demonstrated ability to triage a heavy workflow and set appropriate priorities with clients to deliver efficient results * Ability and interest in developing expertise in new, complex subject areas * Experience with Ironclad and Dropbox * Experience in a financial regulatory area is a plus (i.e. mortgage, consumer loans, banking, or investing) * Familiar and comfortable with using a Mac, Slack, G-Suite, Microsoft Word, Adobe Pro, Jira, Workday, and Quickbase are a plus **Commitment:** _This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 5-month contract position staffed via HireArt.
