Communications and Events Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW Whale Trust seeks a full-time dynamic, results-oriented professional to lead its communications and event production efforts. The Communications and Events Manager is responsible for helping expand community awareness of Whale Trust’s mission, research projects, and education/outreach programs through: Event Production & Management -Manage and produce multiple outreach and fundraising special events, including one major public event (Whale Tales) per year. -Develop and manage event PR, eBlasts, print and social media advertising, and website updates. Outreach Communications Management -Create and implement annual outreach communications plans in concert with the Executive Team to broaden awareness of Whale Trust’s mission, projects, events, and programs.
