Communications Director, West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce

The Communications Director will work collaboratively with staff, PR contractors, and advertisers to further West Town’s mission to further strengthen its business community so that West Town Chicago continues to be a destination for shopping, dining, professional services, nightlife, and culture. ● Direct our PR agency to fulfil deliverable and develop goals including monthly community facing newsletter and social media posting ● Prepare and send the monthly Chamber member e-newsletter providing committee meeting schedule, new members list, business resources from the City of Chicago, and other Chamber committee and SSA program news. ● Implement and manage data for Neighborhood Business Development Center (NBDC) grant work plan deliverables along with support from staff. Submit reports through grant work plan reporting utilizing the ECM program. ● Report commercial vacancies and update the CoStar commercial properties list on website regularly support from staff ● Perform other forms of outreach including spending time in the field surveying the business community regarding their needs, directing them to resources, and distributing information on SSA, Chamber, and event programing.
