Communications Manager

**Division/College:** University Communications & Marketing **Position Summary:** Reporting to the Director of Communications, this position will identify, develop and write content, and coordinate photo and video assets supporting the strategic direction of the university. * Experience working with media, writing news releases and pitching stories; * Experience in project management; * Experience in marketing communications; * Experience working in higher education; * Demonstrated ability to understand varied fields; * Basic knowledge of multimedia production; * Working knowledge of web design principles, printing processes, graphics formats, and effective design and photography principles; * Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience; * Experience mentoring others; * Demonstrated understanding of content channels and repurposing of content. **Special Instructions:** To be considered your “Letter of Qualification” must address each of the required qualifications.
