Communications Officer

Under direction of the Superintendent, the Communications Officer develops and implements strategic communications, public information, marketing and awareness activities to increase the value of County Office of Education programs and services for internal and external stakeholders. The Communications Officer manages BCOE’s social media, branding and public information activities, coordinates with the County of Butte Public Information Office when necessary, and assists with media preproduction, production, and web services management. Work closely with BCOE Cabinet and management team to coordinate or promote programs and services Coordinate internal communications and other activities to enhance employee relations; provide technical support and consultation to BCOE administrators and the Board of Education Ability to operate office equipment
