Job Summary: Reporting to and directed by the Director of External Affairs and Communications of Communities In Schools (CIS) of WA, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for providing management functions to the agency communications and marketing efforts to generate awareness, resulting in CIS visibility and continuity across the WA Network, fundraising and brand visibility. This role will holistically coordinate the following four primary areas: Communications Management (40% of workload) • Develops annual communications plan to build CISWA and the WA Affiliate Network’s muscles in communications and marketing. • Develop monthly content calendar with a targeted focus on storytelling across WA Affiliate Network. • Creates donor appeal and marketing materials, including web and social media content that aligns with the annual campaign themes.
