The Communications Specialist is responsible for performing marketing and communications-related duties on a professional level in specialized functional areas. Responsible for curating content, including but not limited to network-wide internal and external communications, developing media relations, packaging turnkey content for distribution to all media outlets, and developing authentic still and automated marketing content.Responsible for developing all written content/copy for all FHCN communication platforms that align with the Network’s communications objectives and goals. Possesses specific advanced knowledge and skills, including written and verbal communication skills, computational, computer and technical skills, and mathematical knowledge frequently acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree with recognized significant or comparable experience.A combination of relevant experience and completion of a high school diploma with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, or General Educational Development (GED) with a minimum overall score of 162.5, and healthcare-related knowledge frequently acquired through completion of a trade school, para-professional, or certificate-type program. Technical Skills While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and use repetitive hand movements to type and grasp.
