Construction - Billboard Installer

Installation most often includes handling a large advertisement printed on vinyl and ensuring it is properly assembled to the billboard structure. Ability to speak and read English fluently./li liWillingness to work and get along well with others/li liBasic computer skills including Internet navigation and Microsoft Word Excel./li liAbility to work from ladders and to carry a ladder and/or other tools to the worksite from vehicle./li liWorking knowledge of electrical skills and techniques./li liWorking knowledge of fabrication skills and techniques./li liSkill in reading technical documents, such as blueprints and diagrams./li liGeneral knowledge of Lamar, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations/li liAbility to safely use construction equipment/li liAbility to climb heights and work at heights above ground safely/li liAbility to document installations, through photographs and written logs/li liSkill in the practical applications of mathematics, in relation to construction and operations tasks/li liSkill in setting priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities/li /ul pstrongEducation and Experience Requirements:/strong/p ul liA high school diploma or equivalent is required/li liA valid driver’s license is required./li liAbility to complete OSHA 10-hour Construction course required/li lispanCDL A, DOT Commercial, and Non-CDL licenses are a plus, but not required/span/li liVegetation Control and Tree Removal Experience preferred/li liConstruction and Steel Erection Experience preferred/li liPrevious experience working at heights up to 200 ft. above ground preferred/li liConstruction and/or billboard installation experience a plus, but not required/li /ul pspan style="background-color: #ffff99;"strongPlease note: Upon submitting your application, you will be asked to complete an 8-15 minute personality assessment.
