About the RoleLa Lumiere New York is looking for a creative, self‑directed content creator and social media manager based in Austin to own our Instagram and Tik Tok presence. This is a hands‑on content creation role for someone who lives and breathes fashion, jewelry, and accessories, and knows how to build an engaged community through great content.You'll work directly with our Founder, Director of Operations and Marketing Director to execute a content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and sales.What You'll Do Content Creation and Posting (primary focus)Post 10 Instagram stories daily showcasing products, behind‑the‑scenes moments, customer content, and brand lifestyleCreate and post 2-3 Reels per week on Instagram and Tik Tok — a mix of product-focused, trend-driven, and lifestyle contentBuild and maintain reusable story templates and recurring content themes to batch‑create in advanceTap into current trends on Instagram and Tik Tok and adapt them quickly for La LumiereCommunity EngagementRespond to DMs and comments daily without needing remindersEngage authentically with customer posts, tags, and storiesReshare customer content and UGC to storiesContent Planning and ReportingMaintain a content calendar planned at least 2-3 weeks in advanceContribute twice monthly to the La Lumiere marketing deck with organic social metrics, wins, and engagement highlightsKeep an up to date list of Instagram and Tik Tok trends for ongoing content ideasHelp plan social content for product launches and seasonal content themes in collaboration with the teamInfluencer and Creator SupportAssist with influencer and creator relationships, including coordinating product sends and tracking outreach in shared spreadsheetsWhat We're Looking ForBased in Austin, TXStrong content creation skills: you can shoot, edit, and post confidently on your ownGenuine passion for fashion, apparel, jewelry, and accessoriesDeep fluency in Instagram and Tik Tok: you know what's trending before it peaksProactive and organized: you manage your own calendar and don't wait to be told what to postExperience with Canva, Cap Cut, or similar, photo and video editing toolsFamiliarity with scheduling and analytics tools (Hey Orca, Later, Planoly, or similar)Experience (but not reliance on exact output!) using Claude, ChatGPT or other AI tools for content ideation, video storyboarding, hook ideas, etc.Success Metrics4-5 Instagram stories posted daily, consistently on‑brand and product‑linked2-3 Reels per week on Instagram and Tik TokDMs and comments responded to within 24 hoursMonthly follower growth and maintained or improving engagement rateContent calendar maintained 2 or more weeks in advance#J-18808-Ljbffr
