Serve as weekly day-to-day news liaison on Fox 2, WDIV, WXYZ, and CBS Detroit live and pre-taped television and special-event segments, selecting and preparing animals for news appearances.Coordinate news appearances calendar and create weekly educational talking points.Oversee animal story tracking, working with in-house video and photography team to suggest content for direct mail, email, and other communication campaigns.Support the sponsorship team at events as a brand liaison and animal engagement lead.Attend and represent Michigan Humane/community events as scheduled on nights and weekends as needed.Provide support to Michigan Humane marketing and communication plans and initiatives as required.Help identify, plan, and execute opportunities to support promote organizational events, programs, and services.Manage special projects as needed.Qualifications: Join our team at Michigan Humane and make a positive impact, grow your skills and career, and be part of a compassionate and dedicated organization.
