About the position The Content Marketing Specialist II guides and develops the content creation process for Henny Penny. Additionally, this role is responsible for defining and researching market segments and personas in order to create targeted content that resonates, educates, and creates a favorable brand impression of Henny Penny. Lead the content creation process from ideation through deliveryDevelop and execute content strategies that align to target audiences and business goalsOwn marketing segmentation, personas, and associated messaging frameworksResearch industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging topics to keep content fresh and relevantProduce engaging content across platforms — blogs, email, web, video, print, and social mediaWrite, edit, and proof high‑quality marketing copyEnsure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital contentAssist in developing paid ad messaging for PPC and industry advertisingManage content calendars and maintain consistency across all channelsCollaborate with internal experts and external partners to support timely project executionMonitor content performance analytics and prepare insight‑driven reportsSupport content for product launches and strategic initiativesContinually explore new content formats, tools, and technologiesDemonstrate company values and expected behaviors in all workPerform other duties as assignedRequirements Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field with 3–5 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital content; MBA preferred.Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or JoomlaStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsProven ability to create content across digital and print platformsKnowledge of SEO and PPC strategy; experience writing ad copyStrong research skills and an understanding of industry/market trendsProficiency with MS Office and Google SuiteNice-to-haves
