We are a local design and manufacturing business looking to upgrade our current bookkeeper position to a Controller / CFO level hire who will be a part of our senior management team. As our Controller you will work with ownership to plan and manage all the financial and accounting operations for the company. Responsibilities include: \\- Manage all accounting functions: job costing, A/P, A/R, cash management, customer billing, reconciliation, etc. \\- Financial statement preparation \\- Budgeting / forecasting for financial and operational performance \\- Manage payroll, 401k, company benefits and HR functions \\- Process monthly sales tax payments to states in which we have nexus \\- Liaison between bank, insurance companies and CPA \\- Provide management and advice on financial implications of business activities Requirements: \\- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA preferred \\- 5 years accounting with manufacturing/job costing experience, ideally with experience in the graphics/printing industry \\- Expert level proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Quickbooks \\- Detail oriented - ability to identify inconsistencies \\- Working knowledge or ability to easily learn our industry specific estimating / billing software \\- Understanding of printing or graphic design / advertising businesses and SQL experience a huge plus We offer health, vision and dental benefits along with a 401k program.
