Base compensation plus commission is also available *ONLY* to ideal candidates that meet all of the position requirements, have specific experience and who consistently meet or exceed their sales objectives. *POSITION REQUIREMENTS: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE* The ideal candidate will possess all of these requirements; however the company will evaluate each candidate based on how well they match the criteria below: *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Past B2B sales experience with a high degree of demonstrable success meeting or exceed sales objectives *Past (digital) publishing and media sales experience in the communications technology or related industry *Existing or past sales relationships within communications technology companies and/or their media buyers such as Amdocs, Cisco, CSG, Ericsson, JDSU, NetScout, Oracle, Subex, IBM, Microsoft, Tellabs, Tupl, C3.ai, Nokia, Palo Alto Networks, Crowdstrike, Alteyrx, Juniper, Fortinet, SAP, Splunk, Teradata, Snowflake or other similar companies *Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Dynamics, and PowerPoint *CRM software experience with products such as Salesforce.com, Dynamics CRM, or other such software *General technical proficiency with regards to understanding modern communications, technology, and networking *Proficiency with enterprise social networking software such as Skype, Teams, RingCentral, Zoom, Slack, Yammer, and GoToMeeting *High proficiency with on-line prospecting tools such as Act-On, Eloqua, Marketo, Hubspot, Data.com (Jigsaw), LinkedIn and Google *Remote office or work-from- home environment including computer, telecommunications, printer/scanner/fax, and high-speed internet connectivity *Past experience working as a remote or virtual sales contractor *Past experience and desire to work on a straight- commission basis, without earning caps, and for commission rates that match performance *Intrinsic ambition, independence, and motivation *Some college, college degree, or equivalent work experience *Working knowledge of publishing, media, web, advertising, software, or communications industries
