You will also be responsible for ad system management, digital product maintenance, analysis, strategy development, and cross-department collaboration. The Ad Ops Manager role is integral in helping our Digital Ad Operations team and Crain Brands achieve their goals.This position reports to the Director, Revenue Operations and can be office-based in Detroit, Chicago, or remote.Key Areas of ResponsibilityExecute ad tagging changes to enhance advertising offeringsVet, prioritize, and enable new ad products and revenue initiativesRespond to internal ad hoc questionsEnsure campaign success through proactive collaborationTroubleshoot campaign issuesTrain teams on technology and processesMaintain digital products in ad servers and communicate changesManage relationships with Ad Ops vendorsCollaborate on inventory managementMonitor and analyze revenue and performance metricsRequirements/QualificationsMinimum 3 years in Digital Ad OperationsExperience with GAM, Jeeng, Teads, or similar ad techExperience with CMS systems like Arc or DrupalUnderstanding of rich media, video encoding, HTML, JavaScriptFamiliarity with ad serving technologies and concepts (CPM, CPA)Experience with DMP, ESP, CRM, ticketing systemsKnowledge of behavioral targeting, audience segmentation, programmatic sales a plusStrong communication and relationship management skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsInterest in emerging media and technologyAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentSelf-management and commitment completion skillsThis position is exempt under the FLSA and not eligible for overtime.Pay Transparency Disclosure: The estimated salary range is $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience, accomplishments, and location.
