Creative & Social Media Coordinator

Based in the Athens, GA area, the Creative & Social Media Coordinator is an essential part of the communications team working to create a cohesive and strategic presence for ESP in current and growing service areas. Through innovative use of social media, design, merchandise and social video, the Creative & Social Media Coordinator will promote ESP’s story, brand, and initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: • Graphic design- social, print, and digital • Social posting across all channels • Brand specialist & marketing content lead • Photo and video support Detailed Functions, Responsibilities & Skills: • Work collaboratively with staff across teams and cities to leverage opportunities for content creation and to ensure that content is shared in a timely and strategic manner • Produce a regular cadence of social media posts across platforms and accounts, leveraging social trends • Develop social media campaigns that advance the goals of ESP’s Annual Development Plan • Monitor ESP’s social media accounts to ensure consistency, brand adherence, and growth • Advise on social best practices and changes in brand or social media expectations Responsible for maintaining excellent engagement and prompt interaction on all social platforms. • Act as ESP’s key photographer, shooting content for social media, the website, advertising, merchandise sales, and more • Film and edit short videos for social media • Design branded graphics including social media templates, booklets, advertisements, shirts, signage, and other collateral as needed • Support website updates and development as needed through graphics, photos, and videos • Support intern training and management • Owns and updates brand guide and media kits as needed • Sets volunteer photographer schedule and manages Volunteer Photographers collaborating with city coordinators on holes in photography schedule, direct line between photos in cities and our accounts • Special Events Marketing Coordinates with Videographer contracts • A passion for social media and leveraging social trends across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, Tik Tok and more • Expertise in social media and marketing strategy and operations for brand awareness, impressions & target audience engagement • Experience in creating, posting content, and monitoring social media channels • Deep understanding of social media KPIs and how to analyze and measure social efforts • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including a willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends • Self-motivated, task-oriented, and the ability to work independently to achieve set goals • Excellent written and visual communication skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Suite • Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way Preferred Qualifications:
