Learn more: About The RoleOur German business in DACH is growing and so we are looking for a creator-first, Germany-based Creative Strategist who lives and breathes social platforms, creator culture, and online communities to inspire, plan, and execute visions for brands in the DACH region.Reporting directly to the Creative Strategy Director DACH, you'll play a key creative and strategic role, consistently pushing creative boundaries and staying ahead in the continuously evolving landscape of social media, creative advertising, and effectiveness in the creator economy.In addition to supporting strategy across key clients, new business pitches and shaping innovative campaigns, you'll also contribute to building processes internally and with our clients. This role is an opportunity to be part of the team shaping the future of creator-first creative strategy.Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-day: Creator Economy FirstSupport unpacking client briefs, identifying the exact strategic outcome and what is required to achieve itCreate together with the Creative Strategy Directors compelling, creator-led creative and social strategies rooted in actionable insights for key new business pitchesProactively generate original, insight-driven strategic ideas, challenging and inspiring creative thinking for Whalar clientsIdentify and develop community and creator strategies for short-term and annual projects in close collaboration with the Creative Strategy Directors, Research & Insight, Client Services, Design and Community teamsBuild and shape creator briefings to ensure on-strategy creator co-creationProvide creative and strategic support to key accounts, collaborating with the Creative Strategy team and the regional team to identify strategy opportunities and enhance existing relationshipsConsult on paid media strategies and platform-specific rollout plans with partner media agencies to ensure the strategy is executed effectivelyCollaborate cross-functionally with teams like Paid Media, Measurement & Analytics, Creator Partnerships, and Client Services to develop comprehensive client solutions and ensure our creative strategic visions come to life throughout the execution processUse measured campaign outcomes to continually inform and refine future strategies and ideasStay abreast of emerging social media trends, technologies, and platforms, integrating them strategically into projects and proactive thought leadershipHere’s What We’re Looking For: Creator-First Minds2 - 6+ years of experience in creative, social media, and content strategyFluency in social media platforms and their unique dynamics, including extensive knowledge of user behaviors, platform best practices, creator ecosystems, and emerging platform trendsYou are platform-native and deeply immersed in creator culture, with a strong understanding of trends, creators, and audience behaviours across Tik Tok, You Tube, and InstagramStrong analytical skills; comfortable transforming sets of data into actionable insightsMeticulous, culturally rooted creative thinker and practitioner with a strong point of view on emerging trends, communities, and internet culturePassion and experience in the creator economy and ecosystem and its evolving landscape.
