Data Analyst and Writer

GENERAL SUMMARY We are a 15-year-old market research firm with significant business growth ambitions from our existing businesses and new business opportunities. We understand, interpret and shape public opinion through market research and professional services for legal, political and corporate clients. The successful person in this position will enjoy playing a key role in a stimulating, intellectual and professional working environment providing high- value, time-sensitive and potentially game-changing insights to our sophisticated business, legal and political clients. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide writing, editing and fact-finding/researching expertise • Perform data entry and analysis for comprehensive reports • Proofread all copy for spelling, punctuation and syntax • Work collaboratively with Senior Analysts to ensure accuracy, readability and completeness of all produced written materials • Take highly technical content work and transform it into compelling and digestible copy and materials for marketing and public relations purposes • Frequent domestic travel required DESIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Analytical and creative thinker • Willingness to go the extra mile to meet deadlines and achieve results, and a keen attention to detail • Ability to work under tight deadlines and provide quick turn-around • Superior verbal/written communication and organizational skills; strong copy editing, proofreading, fact-finding skills • Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Willingness to work weekends and evenings to meet deadlines • Self-starter with a commitment to teamwork success EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, public relations, or pre-law or related field preferred.
