Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator

As part of the essential functions of this role, the Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator: • Collaborates with the Marketing and Communications team to manage content calendars for multiple external marketing channels and internal communications channels • Collaborates with the Marketing and Communications team to develop content strategies that reach and authentically connect with our diverse target audiences • Manages social media scheduling, posting and engagement in alignment with organizational goals and overall social media strategy • Effectively captures and edits engaging photo and video content for internal and external channels, including Instagram Reels • Assists with copywriting and proofreading with attention to content, grammar, health literacy and style to ensure brand consistency and integrity • Creates a wide range of content for the organization, including content with awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations, including but not limited to people living with HIV, people who use drugs, people of color, LGBTQIA2S+ people, and others who are affected at a disproportionate rate Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or Social Media, with one to two years of digital marketing experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered); candidate must have strong written, verbal, organizational, customer service, and time management skills; candidate will have understanding of emerging platforms, algorithms, and behaviors, and experience with content calendar management; experience with Meta and Google analytics preferred; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Media, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing, with one to two years of digital marketing experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered); experience with content calendar management required; experience with Meta and Google analytics preferred
