Digital Marketing Assistant

Local instrumentation manufacturer is searching for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, hands-on position that involves marketing a technical product in markets from oil/gas to river monitoring. **Role:** * Target industries, customers and geographies as specified by sales team * Google Ads \\- Manage our ads and report results \\- Plan and execute campaigns with input from sales \\- Ideal candidate has used Google Ads before and can bring new ideas to the table * LinkedIn Ads \\- Manage sponsored posts \\- Report on our post activity \\- Develop ideas for non-technical posts and execute * Industry Website Ads \\- Identify potential websites to run banner ads, summarize costs/benefits \\- Execute ad campaigns and report on results * Tasks such as booking booths, and shipping demo gear for conferences and tradeshows * Targeted Email Campaigns \\- Classify customers in CRM into mailing lists \\- Work with sales to organize and execute email campaigns \\- Execute periodic company newsletter \\- Compile names of contacts for new markets as directed by sales * Website SEO Improvements \\- Assess and suggest improvements for website SEO - identify key terminology \\- Assess how we stack up vs. competition \\- Report on website traffic * Create Google photos directory with finished marketing images **Success Criteria:** * Drive new sales leads * Increase website hits through ads, targeted emails * Improve brand awareness * Works well with entire team to get input to be used in campaigns We prefer candidates with some level of understanding of these roles and tasks above, especially SEO, running ads, and minor photo editing experience. We're looking for go-getters who know how to research and find the tools to make them successful in this role because a willingness to learn and execute these tasks is important. If you're good at working independently while still being a strong team player, comfortable with copywriting, able to juggle multiple tasks, and able to create content that appeals to our targeted market, this role is for you.
