Digital Marketing Assistant

Job Summary: As a member of the Pauline Books & Media Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Assistant participates in the development of marketing strategies for the publishing house and other Daughters of St. Paul -related projects and carries out the tasks associated with and evaluations of those strategies, especially those relating to online advertising and eCommerce . General Responsibilities: • Participates in publishing house meetings regarding particular titles and projects, staying informed and up to date about what is happening at PBM and contributing to the development of those projects • Participates in strategic planning for PBM overall, as well as for particular projects and FSP initiatives • Implements and manages advertising channels across digital platforms, including targeted social media ads, Google AdWords, online publications, podcast platforms, etc., as determined by the Marketing team • Assists in determining KPIs and in reporting on measurable ROIs and other evaluations for each campaign • Quarterly reports on analytics for all ad platforms, social media, webstore, newsletter, and general sales Ideal Candidate: • Has a desire to bring the Gospel to all people through all forms of communication • Has an eagerness to learn and share the Pauline charism, brand, and mission • Has strong interpersonal skills and is a professional communicator • Keeps the needs of the PBM audience at heart in all communications and decisions • Works well with a team in collaboration and planning, and stays flexible when troubleshooting in unforeseen circumstances • Facility with online file management systems, social media platforms, analytics dashboards, sales reports, etc. as well as proficiency with Office 365 • Working knowledge of up-to-date best practices for SEO, ad targeting, CMS, UTM tags, lead generation, etc. • Willingness to continue learning and stay informed about trends and changes in online advertising and marketing best practices • Will need to be on-site in Boston up to 4 times per year • Ideal, but not required: Familiarity with HTML/CSS, Adobe Photoshop, simple graphic and web design skills , working knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church
