Carolina Ice / Chilly Water — Kinston, NCFull-Time | In-PersonSalary: $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience + performance bonus opportunityAbout the PositionCarolina Ice / Chilly Water — Kinston, NCFull-Time | In-PersonSalary: $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience + performance bonus opportunityCarolina Ice is looking for a hands‑on Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to take ownership of the growing online presence of Chilly Water and our related brands.We're a small company, so we're not looking for someone who only manages agencies, sits in meetings, or schedules a few social media posts each week.We need a doer.This person will be responsible for continually improving how our brands look, perform and communicate online — from our website and product listings to Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram advertising, SEO, photography, creative content and customer engagement.The goal is simple: make our online presence better every week and turn that work into measurable sales growth.ResponsibilitiesE-Commerce & WebsiteManage and continually improve our online stores and product pagesCreate and optimize product titles, descriptions, images and SEOImprove website organization, navigation and customer experienceIdentify opportunities to improve conversion rates and online salesKeep product information, pricing, promotions and imagery currentMonitor website performance and recommend improvementsPaid AdvertisingBuild, manage and optimize Google Ads campaignsBuild, manage and optimize Facebook and Instagram/Meta advertisingCreate advertising campaigns from concept through launchMonitor budgets, conversions, ROAS and overall campaign performanceTest new audiences, creative, offers and landing pagesIdentify what's working, what's wasting money and make adjustments quicklyCreative & ContentTake high‑quality product and lifestyle photographsEdit and prepare product images for websites, advertising and social mediaDesign digital advertisements and promotional graphicsCreate original advertising concepts and copyHelp maintain a consistent look and voice across all Chilly Water brandsProduce real, original brand content rather than relying on AI-generated creativeSEO & Online PresenceContinuously improve organic search visibilityOptimize website pages, product listings, images and metadataManage and improve our Google presenceIdentify relevant keywords and search opportunitiesMonitor rankings, website traffic and search performanceLook for new online channels and opportunities to increase brand visibilitySocial Media & Community ManagementHelp manage Chilly Water social media accountsMonitor Facebook, Instagram and other relevant platforms throughout the workdayRespond to comments, questions and direct messagesEngage with customers and followers in the voice of the brandEscalate customer service problems or sensitive comments when appropriateIdentify trends, conversations and opportunities the brand can participate inHelp turn customers and followers into an active online communityWho We're Looking ForWe're less interested in a specific degree and more interested in what you can actually do.The right person should be able to show examples of previous work and demonstrate experience with several of the following:Google AdsMeta/Facebook Ads ManagerE-commerce platformsGoogle Analytics / GA4Google Search ConsoleSEOProduct photographyPhotoshop, Lightroom, Canva or similar design/editing softwareSocial media managementDigital advertisingCopywritingEmail marketingE-commerce analyticsYou should be comfortable working independently, experimenting, learning and taking ownership of projects without needing someone to constantly tell you what to work on next.This is not a position where we want someone simply waiting for their next assignment.We want someone who can look at our online business and say:"Here’s what’s working. Here’s what’s not. AI can help start the work — you are responsible for finishing it.Final ads should feel original, professional, on‑brand and intentionally created for Chilly Water and Carolina Ice.Schedule & LocationThis is a full‑time, in‑person position at Carolina Ice in Kinston, North Carolina.This is not currently a remote position.Compensation$55,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.Performance‑based bonus opportunities may also be available based on measurable digital growth and sales performance.We are willing to pay more for someone who can demonstrate that they have successfully grown online sales, managed profitable advertising campaigns and built a strong digital presence for a consumer brand.About UsCarolina Ice is a third‑generation North Carolina company founded in 1982.
