Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist The Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist plays a key role in shaping Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company’s (PLM) digital presence, with a primary focus on social media strategy, content creation, and audience engagement. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, coverages, and industry trends to create accurate and impactful marketing materials Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as needed A passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for PLM’s distinct brand, reputation, and industry focus are critical to success in this role. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field 2–4 years of experience in social or digital marketing, preferably within B2B, insurance, or financial services Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts with measurable results Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) Proficiency in graphic design and/or video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) preferred Understanding of SEO and content optimization best practices is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Interest in or willingness to develop knowledge of commercial insurance and the industries PLM serves Commitment to ongoing professional development and industry education Portfolio of social media campaigns, writing samples, and/or design work required Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats Hybrid work schedule (3 in-office, 2 remote) Occasional travel for company events or industry conferences may be required
