Digital Marketing Specialist

Youll lead the content development of our eFoodie email program, create lifecycle journeys to drive key business metrics, and further develop our push notification and SMS strategies. Do you have what it takes to be a Digital Messaging Specialist at Central Market? What is the work? • Drives the digital messaging strategy and execution of campaigns • Creates and manages the digital messaging calendar, including email, push notifications, and SMS • Drives / manages email process and project workflow for digital messaging calendars • Works with Partners and business units to proactively solicit details needed to create content that delivers on business goals; translates concepts and strategies into engaging copy that conveys brand tone and encourages customers to take desired actions • Collaborates with designers, marketing, and business units to maximize message impact through design and marketing concepts • Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance; visualizes insights • Shares email program insights / recommendations with key internal partners for ongoing optimization • Works with cross-functional team to create / align on messaging and offer strategy; works with content and design teams to create messaging; routes for stakeholder approval • Recommends / implements new strategies, innovative ideas, and technologies to grow the messaging channels • Communicates messaging strategies / plans to technical team members for proper implementation • Develops email segmentation strategy, including identifying key customer segments, developing contact strategy, and A/B testing on content, coupons, promotions, and creative optimization • Stays current on food trends, marketing, and competitor initiatives; identifies opportunities for Central Market • Adheres to stringent deadlines to ensure smooth flow of content projects through the department and allow for special projects, pre-work, and rush assignments • Advanced knowledge of digital messaging techniques, email best practices, CAN-SPAM compliance, and iOS/Android push notification functions • Working knowledge of sales and advertising writing, and business / customer needs and insights • Advanced verbal / written business communication skills • Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills • Strong English grammar skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks / projects; attention to detail • Ability to work complex issues with a strong sense of ownership, drive, and urgency • Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment • Work extended hours; sit for extended periods
