Job OverviewPeter Millar is seeking a motivated and curious Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic E‑Commerce team s role supports the execution and optimization of the retention programs – including Email, SMS, Print, among other digital media functions. The Digital Marketing Specialist will partner closely with internal teams, agency partners and cross‑functional stakeholders to coordinate campaigns, manage marketing operations, and ensure programs are executed efficiently and accurately across digital channels. This role requires strong organization, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail and collaboration across teams.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOversee the day‑to‑day email production process, including but not limited to: developing the monthly email marketing calendar, writing creative briefs, suggesting segmentation, coordinating timelines, working with inventory planning, facilitating copy/design/approval/coding, conducting pre‑launch QA, and developing A/B testing strategies across email and SMS.Support the Content Manager with development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including go‑to‑marketing planning, audience targeting, and campaign analysis.Execute day‑to‑day operations of the SMS channel – including creation, planning, approvals, scheduling, QA, and deployment of messages.Assist in reviewing campaign results with agency partners to identify areas for improvement and test new strategies.Assist with strategic and technical projects (implementing triggers, CRM, Lifetime Value, Product Reviews) to advance retention marketing initiatives.Strategically work alongside internal business units (Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Website Operations, Creative, Inventory Planning, Executive Team) to drive the email business.Maintain accuracy of communication and quality of retention content, with meticulous proofreading and coordination of revisions from reviewers across multiple departments.Maintain ongoing (monthly and weekly) reporting to help analyze and grow the email program.Contribute to weekly and monthly performance reporting by compiling key metrics and summarizing insights to inform business decisions.Support seasonal campaign planning and digital marketing initiatives by helping organize timelines, documentation, and project workflows.Gain exposure to key performance marketing initiatives through ongoing projects, monthly planning, briefing, and ad‑hoc support.COMPETENCIESDemonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.Builds productive working relationships across teams and communicates clearly with both internal stakeholders and external partners.Thrives in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) with partners, peers, customers, and executives.Demonstrates an understanding of customer segmentation and database marketing.Enjoys exercising his/her creative muscles, and loves to work in a team environment where the input and ideas of all team members are considered.Very detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time (great time‑management skills).Demonstrates great problem‑solving skills, creativity, and resourcefulness.Considered by peers and supervisors to be self‑managing and results driven.DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.1–3 years working experience on a retention channel, including but not limited to email and SMS.E‑commerce marketing experience in a retail (or wholesale) environment.Experience working with ESPs, CRMs, and inbox deliverability tools.Experience building monthly campaign content and multi‑step email triggers.Strong understanding of UI Design, usability best practices, and A/B testing both within email and on the website across all device types (PC, Mobile, Tablet).Proficient in Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools.Apparel knowledge and luxury brand experience strongly preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer StatementPeter Millar & G/FORE are equal opportunity employers.
