THE ROLEDavis Ad Agency is looking for a Digital Media Buyer & Strategist to join our team in Virginia Beach.

As part of our media team, you’ll combine smart strategy, hands-on campaign management and data-driven optimization to create work that performs. You’ll work across a diverse mix of clients, including some of the region’s most recognizable brands and organizations.

WHAT YOU’LL DOAs a Digital Media Buyer & Strategist, you’ll help shape how and where our clients connect with their target audiences – from developing media strategies and plans to launching, managing and optimizing campaigns.

You’ll work across paid search, YouTube, programmatic display and video, using data and performance insights to continually improve campaign performance.

You’ll also collaborate closely with our media, creative, social and account teams to connect media strategy to the bigger picture – our clients’ goals, audiences, creative and overall marketing strategy.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR• Developing digital media recommendations, channel strategies and budget allocations based on client goals, audiences and performance data

Planning, launching and managing campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic display and video, and other digital channelsMonitoring and optimizing campaigns to improve performance and maximize client budgetsAnalyzing campaign and website data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insightsManaging tracking and measurement to ensure campaigns are set up to capture the right conversionsBuilding clear, meaningful reports that go beyond the numbers to explain what’s working, what isn’t and what we should do nextStaying current on new platforms, tools, technology and changes across the digital advertising landscapeWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR• 3+ years managing digital advertising campaigns

Hands-on experience with Google Ads, including Search, Display and YouTubeKnowledge of programmatic display and video platformsAbility to build and manage reporting in Looker StudioStrong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insightsOrganizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to take ownership of your work while collaborating effectively as part of a teamWOULD BE AWESOME IF…• You have an understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking

Salary based on experience level, range: $55,000-$85,000.
