Digital Media Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, launching, tracking, and optimizing digital ads and social media posts to cost‑effectively increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion rates.Location(s): Corporate Office or Remote (USA, contiguous States)Essential Functions for this Role:Create and maintain a social media calendar that aligns with the overall marketing and communication goals.Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.Research, curate, write, edit, and publish engaging and relevant content for various social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube, etc.Plan, create and execute engaging digital ad campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Linked In Ads.Design and create multimedia content, such as graphics, videos, animations, etc., using appropriate tools and software.Identify and interact with the target audience, influencers, and potential partners, and respond to comments, queries, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.Monitor performance metrics such as click‑through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).Analyze and report campaign performance metrics and refine strategies for increased effectiveness.Implement A/B testing strategies to compare different versions of ads and social posts.Optimize ad copy, design, and targeting to improve conversion rates.Collaborate with other teams to ensure branding, voice and messaging aligns with overall marketing goals.Stay updated on the latest social media and digital marketing trends, tools, platforms, and best practices to suggest new strategies and techniques.Manage social media and ad budgets to ensure cost‑effective use of resources for paid campaigns.Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.Demonstrate strong analytical skills, creative thinking, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.Relationships at Caliber:Reports to: SVP of Marketing, Strategy and TechnologyRegularly interacts with all members of the Caliber teamWhat you’ll bring:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or a related field.At least 3 years of proven experience as a social media manager or a similar role, preferably in the financial services or investments industry.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to adapt the tone and style to different platforms and audiences.Creative and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to create and execute effective and engaging social media campaigns.Proficiency in using various social media platforms, tools, and design software, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.Strong analytical and data‑driven skills, and the ability to use data to improve the performance and impact of social media activities and digital ads.Proficiency in using analytics and tracking tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager.Knowledge of social media best practices, guidelines, and regulations, and the ability to comply with them.Experience with A/B testing and data‑driven decision‑making.Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.Teamwork and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with different departments and stakeholders.Self‑motivation and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities.Passion and enthusiasm for social media and digital marketing, and the willingness to learn and grow.Physical DemandsThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs.
