The Digital Media Strategist (DMS) role is for an experienced marketing professional well-versed in planning/buying multiple digital media types. As needed, the DMS may be involved in a support role for strategy and results presentations to clients. The Digital Media Strategist is a member of the Accountable Digital Media Team – a group focused on the day-to-day management of digital media project initiatives, strengthening vendor and partner relationships, and expertise in digital media platforms. Negotiation & Placement • Has advanced knowledge of and experience with core industry tools and platforms that lend to the planning process and management of paid digital media campaigns • Effectively negotiates and places media • Ensures plans include any tracking and analytics necessary to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) • Develops and maintains positive relationships with media vendors and partners on project-related initiatives • Executes media plans while adhering to established budgets and timelines • Works independently within the systems and acts as a resource for training others Reporting • Prepares reports for digital media campaigns • Uses digital marketing tools to provide ROI analysis of digital media campaigns against defined KPIs
