Director

Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska d/b/a University of Nebraska Lincoln seeks Director in Lincoln, NE. Reporting to the Dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Director is responsible for: the development of the JCC facility; including recruiting, hiring, training, and terminating JCC personnel; working with faculty to develop curriculum, policies, program planning, and budgets; partnering with the College’s recruitment and public relations personnel on student recruitment, marketing, and publicity; encouraging and supporting faculty development, teaching in an area of expertise, and engaging and developing collaborations with industry, civic, community, and cultural leaders, locally, nationally and internationally, in ways that will benefit the JCC and its stakeholders, including assisting in raising funds and making strategic partnerships; and other duties as assigned. Education: 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s* (or foreign equivalent) degree in the humanities, technology, emerging media, or related field.
