Director, Advertising Sales - Sams MAP - Industry Manager Food

Our Sam's Club Member Access Platform [MAP] excels when suppliers invest in digital media to drive growth, benefiting both Sam's Club and our supplier partners. The growth of our digital advertising business is integral to our overall growth strategy. What you'll do: • You will lead the food sales team and manage 20 direct/indirect reports • Build, inspire, train and manage a motivated consultative sales and services team • Forecast and allocate resources to drive profitable business results • Understand our client's businesses and develop appropriate solutions to meet their needs • Implement projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development • Work with cross functional teams to increase revenue with new and existing customers • Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development to support client needs in the region • Promote Sam's Club MAP with agencies and clients at targeted events, conferences and media opportunities • Champion MAP product releases internally and externally • Deliver exceptional customer service and presenting Sam's Club MAP's solutions in a compelling, positive, and professional way What you'll bring: • 12+ years hands on experience leading a group of 20+ strong performers • Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships • Understanding of the advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends • Demonstrated track record in leading a team to surpass its targets and grow the scale of business partnerships • Accomplished storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands and utilizing data to share the story • Experience forging relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies • Experience as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes, and systems In a role preparing and executing budgets., Leading cross-functional teams, Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Advertising, or related area., Sales, Supervisory experience
