Director, Business Development • Our fast-growing company provides technical products and services throughout the US. You will lead efforts to develop business strategies, market, and sell all products and services, including existing business lines and new initiatives. In addition, you will supervise and manage a 4-person Sales Team. • The ideal candidate has worked in an entrepreneurial small-business environment, can undertake a wide array of business development tasks, and loves getting into the nitty-gritty to accomplish real change. • Manage the company’s presence at both regional and national industry trade shows, and represent the company to clients at these functions • Plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets • Propose and implement business and marketing strategies that grow market share and improve sales to existing customers • Create and execute marketing and advertising plans based on research and understanding of the business and industry • Identify, evaluate, and implement programs to improve the volume and quality of leads to the sales team • Develop and manage marketing assets including brochures, white papers, newsletters, social media, website, etc.
