Essential Responsibilities • Creative: Support EVP in all aspects of creative campaigns • Print: Work with creative agencies to facilitate the creation of Key Art for 1-sheets and outdoor advertisings • Plan special shoots, producing with feature productions, talent reps, photographers, creative agencies, shoot producers, internal colleagues and other constituents • Work with print production team to design numerous outdoor media, adapting art to the varying shapes • Advise on all adaptations of key art for in theater, digital, static OOH, digital OOH, motion OOH, partner creative and more • A/V: Work with creative agencies in the production of materials for global theatrical campaigns: Trailers, TV, digital advertising, radio, cross-promotion and NBCU’s Symphony campaigns • Budget: Work with team members to keep current budget updated • Review PORs and flag bills that don’t align with services rendered • Negotiate fees with creative agencies, as needed • Media: Manage timelines for creative to ensure media delivery schedule is met • Organize delivery specs and details around specific media buys • Experience with blockbuster campaigns, trailer launches and large media buys, a plus • Knowledge of Broadcast TV standards and practices • Knowledge of Digital platforms – YT (skippable and non-skippable), social platforms formats and deliverables, connected TVs, website takeovers and more • Fluency in technical aspects of production and post-production in live action, animation and VFX films • Manage VFX pipeline and timelines • Produce the process for AV trailer pipeline and print still renders • Manage Animation pipelines and timelines • Produce the process for AV trailer pipeline and print stills renders • Track updates of new stages of animation • Ideate and manage the custom animation projects that often partner with colleagues across departments • Knowledge of finishing formats for theatrical and digital • Understanding of Audio Specs (7.1 vs 5.1 vs stereo), Color Timing, Sound Mixing and Daily Management • Finishing experience for AV and Print • Working knowledge of doing audio mixing and color timing for TV ads and Trailers • Understanding End Cards, company logos, pedigree and addressing legal and MPA concerns • Collaborating to handle music clearances, narration and ADR recording sessions • A creative and technical eye to graphics, print color finishing, print crop layouts and fine-tuned details all along the way • Administrative: Track creative and finishing deadlines for all print and AV projects • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors, process POs and PO requests for all projects • Track MPAA and Network approvals • Work with A/V and Print finishing departments to review numerous versions of AV materials across digital and linear platforms, as well as Print materials across in theater, outdoor and digital media • Fulfill material requests from other Universal divisions, for special events (CinemaCon & Town Hall) and work presentations (roadshows & internal meetings) • Presentation: Lead with a professional demeanor • Communicate professionally and clearly with filmmakers, production, agencies and colleagues across departments • Speak with walking knowledge in meetings to provide updates, as needed • Share creative materials and explain the strategy behind it’s significance • Correspond with filmmakers and production companies to receive materials and updates Email communications sometimes continue into the evening and travel is occasionally required • A Producer who can manage small groups and communicate very well across every level of corporate colleagues • Training in music, creative writing, graphics, or editorial is a bonus • A familiarity with the Universal Pictures environment is preferred but an ability to adapt to a variety of situations is equally important • Knowledge of design programs like Adobe Photoshop and editing software like Avid, Premiere or Final Cut, is a plus • An ability to speak or understand any foreign languages If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you have the right to request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access nbcunicareers.com as a result of your disability.
