Director, Digital Media Strategy

This position is an integral part of the Agency's media team, leading our digital media strategy team to provide strategic insights and recommendations for performance and brand-building initiatives. What does the Director, Digital Media Strategy do at Rain the Growth Agency? • Spearheads digital media strategy and planning initiatives across key clients • Develop and present to senior clients' full-funnel strategic recommendations specifically for digital media channels • Generate media mix recommendations utilizing planning tool outputs as well as channel-level expertise • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior clients to ensure that digital channels are properly represented within recommendations and rational • Is a leader in Performance Marketing and spends significant time reviewing performance data to drive insights and recommendations for optimization • Educate agency stakeholders to enable full understanding of digital media capabilities, limitations and recommendations • Collaborate with digital subject matter experts to identify opportunities for our clients • Manage brand budget approvals and stewardship within RainONE, our internal media management tool • Understand digital media + ad tech + measurement offerings and effectively integrate into media strategies • Will lead up to 4 clients whose primary media is digitally focused • Manage cross channel development of campaign insights developed by channel leads • Team development of case studies highlighting digital successes Foster relationships with internal and external teams • Represent digital media within internal and external meetings as a strategic media lead; at times representing all digital channels • Collaborate with Analytics to uncover performance opportunities and test and learn agendas • Work closely with our Client Service, Media Planning and Creative team members to develop fully integrated media campaigns • Ensure media briefs received from Planning teams include all details necessary to build effective digital plan recommendations We actively ensure employees know how we are doing and where we are going.
