Director, Media Planning & Strategy

301 Digital Media is seeking a Director, Media Planning & Strategy to lead the company’s media planning, partnerships, and client strategy while working closely with the company’s media operations team to ensure all client campaigns are executed successfully.. Duties and Responsibilities • Lead the company’s media partnerships efforts and function as the primary point of contact for the company’s paid media partners and vendors, including but not limited to: digital media companies, television station groups, radio station groups, cable networks, TV stations, newspapers, magazines, out of home, and programmatic media, as well as social media • Develop media plans and strategies for the company’s clients across all media channels and platforms, including vendor negotiation and contract development • Represent 301 Digital Media and lead client and vendor calls, emails, and video conferences as required • Lead strategy on client support for new business development • Function as a collaborative resource with the company’s media operations team in developing, launching, managing, and optimizing digital marketing advertising campaigns on platforms including Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, etc. • A very strong familiarity with digital marketing and media technologies and strong understanding of RTB/programmatic media buying or selling (DSP or SSP). • With a small and nimble team, this position requires both the ability and desire to do and lead, from campaign planning in and outs to people management and delegation of tasks as appropriate. Educational and Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management or business, or equivalent education/experience • 10+ years of experience in ad sales, ad operations, media planning, digital media, social media marketing or related roles, either with a brand or agency; the ideal candidate will have both brand and agency experience.
