Director of Advertising and Promotions

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Advertising and Promotions to ensure our promotional materials and communications meet all legal, regulatory, and company standards. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing new regulations, reviewing promotional messaging, and guiding our promotional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve promotional materials to ensure compliance and alignment with approved product labeling and regulatory requirements.Provide strategic regulatory guidance during pre-launch and launch activities, ensuring all messaging is scientifically sound and appropriately targeted.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to support promotional strategies and product launches.Act as a key liaison with the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) on promotional strategy discussions and submissions.Monitor changes in U.S. promotional regulations, integrating updates into departmental processes.Conduct training sessions for internal teams regarding promotional compliance regulations.Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising and promotion compliance within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.Hands-on experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches, including pre-launch and commercialization activities.Solid understanding of U.S. regulatory requirements related to advertising and promotion.Strong capabilities for providing practical and risk-based regulatory guidance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:

8+ years is preferred, particularly in supporting rare disease products or specialty therapeutic areas like neurology.Experience interacting with OPDP and supporting investigational or accelerated approval products.Leadership experience in mentoring compliance team members and influencing stakeholders.Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required; Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MS) is preferred.Competencies:

Compensation: Pay Range: Minimum $186,489 - Maximum $278,875, plus incentive opportunities.
