The Director of Advertising and Integrated Media plays a key role in the development, execution, and oversight of comprehensive marketing, communication, and advertising campaigns that support recruiting, retention, and student satisfaction goals at the College of Charleston. This position acts on behalf of the Office of Marketing and Communications and makes complex decisions in collaboration with university colleagues and external vendors to impact the revenue stream of the university. A bachelor's degree and three years of progressively responsible experience in digital marketing strategy formulation and campaign execution through various channels such as email, digital displays, search, social media, retargeting are required. The ideal candidate must have significant digital content creation and copywriting experience, knowledge of all creative process phases, and demonstrated understanding of digital marketing metrics, reporting, and analysis. Key responsibilities include developing, executing, and overseeing short- and long-term strategic marketing and advertising campaigns to impact recruiting strategies and revenue-generating efforts.
