Directing promotional compliance efforts, the full-time Director of Advertising Compliance will review and approve promotional materials for prescription drugs and medical devices, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while providing strategic guidance for rare disease product launches in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Ensures compliance of promotional materials with applicable laws and regulations while analyzing new regulatory guidance Provides strategic regulatory guidance during pre-launch and launch activities, including the review of promotional claims and educational materials Partners with cross-functional teams to support promotional strategy and ensures timely submission of materials to regulatory bodies Required qualifications 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising and promotion compliance within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry Experience leading or supporting pharmaceutical product launches, including pre-launch planning and commercialization activities Solid understanding of U.S. regulatory requirements and FDA advertising and promotion guidelines Demonstrated ability to provide practical, risk-based regulatory guidance in cross-functional environments Bachelor's Degree required; advanced scientific or clinical degree preferred
