Director of Development & Communication

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Director of Development & Communications at a growing non-profit organization in the downtown San Luis Obispo area. The ideal candidate is personable, quick, and thinking 10 steps ahead. \- Collaborate with team members and properly delegate tasks \- Execute fundraising event collaboration with volunteers, new, and existing donors \- Develop and implement marketing programs to promote and create a strategic brand around this non-profit \- Collaborate with the community to find how this non-profit can better serve its customers \- Oversee development of print and electronic communications (such as annual report, marketing collateral, website, social media, etc.) \- Actively cultivate and manage existing media relationships.
