Director of Golf and Events (Thr3 Jack)

Job Responsibilities – include but are not limited to: • Generate new relationships that lead to increased revenue • Increase brand awareness, restaurant traffic, and audience engagement • Oversee and manage league play both at Thr3 Jack and elsewhere (green grass tournaments during the summer) • Oversee and manage Uschedule (simulator scheduling program) and AboutGOLF (simulator company) • Hire, train, and supervise Sim Pros • Regular outreach and engagement with local community • Develop, oversee, and manage clinics, lessons, golf schools, and player development programs • Explore and propose potential programming to enhance guest experience and increase traffic during slower periods • Oversee and manage membership program • Develop, oversee, and manage relationships with golf sponsors and partners • Develop, oversee, and manage golf-related special events • Coordinate the development of annual business plans for the golf operation • Coordinate and ensure all written correspondence, newsletters, and communications for the golf operation • Coordinate plans for all food and beverage needs during golf functions • Oversee golf marketing initiatives including all promotional materials, play recruitment, social media, securing advertisements for simulators, leagues, events, etc. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, customer databases • Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community • Fundamental supervisory practices and principles • Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees Other Duties This job description is not designed to cover a comprehensive list of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
