Planet 93.9 is seeking its next Director of Market Development to lead one of the Quad Cities’ most recognizable local media brands and one of the region’s most comprehensive marketing platforms.

This is not an entry-level management opportunity. We are seeking an accomplished sales leader with a proven track record of growing revenue, developing winning sales teams, and building meaningful relationships within the local business community.

You’ll work directly alongside ownership from our Downtown Davenport headquarters with the authority to make decisions, build your team, execute strategy, develop new revenue opportunities, and help shape the future of our organization. The Opportunity

Lead an established sales organization while recruiting and developing future talent. Oversee local and regional revenue growth initiatives. Develop strategic partnerships with business owners and community leaders. Participate in major client relationships and key account development. Work directly with ownership on strategic planning, budgeting, and business growth. Help guide Planet 93.9 and our family of brands through their next phase of expansion. Responsibilities

Coach, mentor, and hold accountable a team of sales professionals. Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top-performing sales talent. Establish sales goals, forecasting, and performance expectations. Participate in high-level sales presentations and negotiations. Identify new revenue opportunities and market trends. Develop integrated marketing strategies utilizing all company brands. Build relationships throughout the Quad Cities business community. Collaborate directly with ownership to launch new initiatives and expand market share. Create a culture of professionalism, accountability, innovation, and growth. Qualifications

Previous sales management or senior sales leadership experience. Strong history of revenue growth and team development. Experience in advertising, media, marketing, digital marketing, business services, or consultative sales. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities. Strong business relationships and community involvement. Ability to lead by example and inspire performance. Passion for helping local businesses succeed. Compensation & Benefits
