Director of Marketing

Boomerang is looking to bring on a marketing director to build out our team and help us tell the stories of how our productivity solutions brighten days and make organizations more effective You’ll work with us to establish a new office in Sacramento, recruit a team of 2-3 marketing folks to work with you in it, and set up goals and objectives for your team. If you specialize in rebranding, don’t need any data or any context to tell us how to change our pricing, or interpret the responsibilities listed above to mean “dictate what to build to our engineering and product teams,” our competitors are hiring too! On the other hand, if you're excited about telling stories, writing persuasive copy, building relationships, keeping a bunch of balls in the air without dropping the important ones, and signing up a million new customers, you might be a perfect fit. Even stronger persuasive writing skills * Good judgment and a solid moral compass * The ability to take responsibility for driving projects to completion and the level of organization and competency to track those projects * Extensive experience driving, measuring, and iterating on marketing campaigns * A working knowledge of Cialdini’s research in persuasion * A willingness to travel to our Mountain View headquarters for a week or two per year, plus day trips approximately once per month
