Director of Marketing

This position will be responsible for developing and leading effective marketing strategies, analyzing user experience data, initiating digital projects, reporting on planned and current strategies, and ensuring that projects are executed within scope, budget, and committed timeframe. Ideal candidates for this position will be nimble, innovative, insightful, and able to creatively collaborate. Responsibilities This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following activities and duties. Marketing Shape the development and execution of the integrated marketing and communications from pre-launch initiatives to campaigns throughout the year Oversee the brand-specific and digital presence of the organization Lead the implementation of the marketing initiatives and tactics while guiding the small in-house marketing team and consultants Partner closely with the merchandising team and key brand partners to provide cross-functional marketing support Set and administer an annual integrated marketing budget Create and manage a calendar of campaigns and events Manage and measure marketing campaign costs Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs Conduct market research studies and continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary Digital Strategy Manage and refine the organization’s social media presence Partner closely with digital strategy consultant and public relations partners, including PR consultants, influencers, bloggers and traditional media outlets Oversee the execution of paid media campaigns across multiple digital and social platforms Lead the content planning, content production, community engagement, and metrics reporting & optimizations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead multi-platform digital/social content, marketing promotions, and brand marketing strategies Customer Experience Guide the day-to-day activities of the customer experience associate Drive team performance while understanding the right balance of high-quality customer service and operational effectiveness Build compelling actions to enhance customer loyalty and improve service metrics through business analysis and strong acumen skills Requirements 7+ years of full-time experience in marketing (digital strategy experience a plus) Fashion, marketing, and e-commerce experience a plus Superior communication skills, both internal and client-facing Strong relationship management, organizational, and project management skills Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business partners, including Creative, Media, and Merchandising Ability to identify opportunities for growth and incremental opportunities Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field Proficient on Mac with knowledge of Google Apps and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias towards action Limited travel may be required Background and reference checks required with an employment offer.
