Compensation: 77,000 - 87,000 Location: Principally based at Creativity Explored, 3245 16th Street in San Francisco, with regular visits to other CE locations Supervises: Marketing Coordinator, Business and Art Partner Development VISTA Reports to: Executive Director Application Deadline: November 13, 2022 ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT Creativity Explored is a San Francisco nonprofit that partners with people with developmental disabilities to create an artistic, studio-based collective where the creative capacity of any person can flourish. POSITION OVERVIEW CE’s Director, Marketing and Partnerships will support CE artists by sharing their work and stories with the community and soliciting partnerships that support this goal. Areas of oversight include: \\- CE’s overall brand, messaging, and communications channels \\- Organizational communications including social media, press, and advertising \\- Initiating partnerships with developers, architects, designers, and others that lead to broad scale placement of artist works \\- Keeping informed on issues impacting the neurodiverse and disabled community and sharing resources within the organization of these developments The Director will also work with CE’s Executive Director, board, and leadership team to plan and develop additional large-scale partnerships with companies and institutions that benefit the organization in areas such as food and beverage, media and real estate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \\- Marketing and Communications \\- Work closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors’ Marketing Committee to create/update the Marketing & Communication plan. Partner Cultivation \\- Develop relationships with partners that may advance CE advocacy initiatives \\- Work closely with CE Executive Director on special partnership projects with local and national businesses and nonprofits that bring additional resources and relationships to CE \\- Plan and execute meetings and events that enhance relationships and partnerships with strategically aligned organizations \\- Create demand generation and awareness on behalf of all departments through building out and implementing the partnership plan which aims to grown and foster relationships with community and arts partners Organizational Relationships The Director, Marketing and Brand Partnerships is expected to work productively in a team environment, to provide leadership as a member of our Management Team, and to foster open communication with staff across the organization to produce communications that support the organization’s mission and goals.
