DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Windows Direct USA
Full-time
Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year
Are you a marketing leader who knows how to generate quality leads, turn those leads into appointments, and make marketing dollars produce results?
Windows Direct USA is looking for a hands-on Director of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and execution across multiple markets. This person will manage a marketing budget of $5 million or more, develop our team, hold vendors accountable, and help drive profitable growth.
You’ll work directly with our CEO and VP. We need someone who can see the big picture, get into the details, and take ownership of results.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own marketing performance and spending
- Manage and track a marketing budget of $5 million or more while maintaining cost-of-marketing targets.
- Develop and execute market-specific marketing plans that account for local conditions, sales goals, and sales capacity.
- Lead digital, television, radio, print, and other advertising across multiple locations.
- Manage agencies, lead providers, and other vendors, holding them accountable for spending, lead quality, reporting, and results.
- Track performance across the full lead-to-sale funnel, including lead generation, appointment conversion, issued leads, sales, marketing cost, and return on investment.
- Use data and attribution to identify what’s working, what isn’t, and where to invest next.
- Present results and recommendations to company leadership.
Turn more leads into appointments
- Oversee the lead-handling process from initial inquiry through appointment setting and handoff to sales.
- Hire, train, coach, and lead our internal marketing call center team.
- Identify gaps in lead response and follow-up, and improve conversion from raw lead to set appointment.
- Work closely with sales and the call center to understand lead quality, match lead volume to sales capacity, and improve the opportunities reaching our representatives.
Lead campaigns and build the brand
- Oversee managers responsible for home shows, events, and canvassing.
- Develop advertising campaigns, offers, creative, and sales materials that get customers to act.
- Manage social media content and customer messages across our accounts.
- Develop email campaigns for customers at different stages of their journey.
- Use our customer database to grow repeat and referral business.
- Work with customer service to strengthen our online reputation and generate more authentic customer reviews.
- Improve our website and marketing materials to increase conversion.
- Develop and distribute internal employee communications and sales collateral.
Lead people and execute
- Partner with the CEO and VP to develop marketing strategies and put them into action.
- Build strong working relationships across sales, the call center, field marketing, operations, agencies, lead providers, vendors, and leadership.
- Set clear priorities and expectations for team members and vendors across locations.
- Build a dependable, collaborative team that takes ownership and follows through.
- Make decisions, solve problems, and adapt quickly as business needs change.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Broad, hands-on marketing leadership experience, with strong knowledge of performance marketing, direct response, lead generation, and the full lead-to-sale funnel.
- Experience across multiple marketing channels, ideally including television, radio, digital media, paid search, lead aggregators, and field or event marketing. We’re looking for a well-rounded leader rather than someone focused on only one specialty.
- Demonstrated experience managing significant marketing budgets and competing priorities across multiple locations or markets.
- Experience owning measurable results, including marketing KPIs, attribution, ROI, conversion performance, sales capacity, and local market conditions.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills, with the ability to work effectively with sales, call center, field marketing, operations, outside partners, and executive leadership.
- At least three years of hands-on experience managing multichannel marketing programs and results.
- Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to explain performance and recommendations clearly.
- Confidence working with web-based platforms, reporting tools, and new technology.
- A strong eye for copy, design, offers, and content.
- The ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and manage competing priorities.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, digital/technology, or business management, or relevant real-world experience.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You know which channels and vendors are producing quality leads, what it costs to generate appointments, and where opportunities are being lost. Your team knows what’s expected, leadership has a clear view of performance, and marketing decisions are backed by results.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- $120,000–$150,000 per year
- 401(k) with company match
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Life insurance
- Paid time off
