The Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI) is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team. The BMI’s strategic plan positions the museum as the leading platform in Baltimore for dialogue about the past, present, and future of work. • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent life experience • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on strategic planning and measurable outcomes, in positions of increasing responsibility • Outstanding written and oral communication skills • Experience with digital, social, and print marketing channels • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite • Previous experience working in a nonprofit or cultural institution is a plus The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 DOE and benefits include paid holidays, sick time and personal time, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 403(b) plan with an employer match, and free onsite parking.
